Clean rooms, comfortable beds, employees are pleasant. I have had better breakfast at this place before. This time the eggs and sausage were like warm. No cranberry juice.

I know Ecnolodge is updating, but apparently they forgot housekeeping. Dusty vents, bugs in light, grimy showerhead barely worked, filthy floor, stained ironboard, disgusting mattress, blood stains on shower curtain, urine stains on toilet tank. Etc etc. Arg. I gave two stars instead of one because dog friendly, staff was friendly and courteous, breakfast was good, and no freeway noise in room.
Now, to this time. Ugh. We had to get a smoking room because it was the only one left. It is in the building behind the main hotel. I've found several dead bugs, a few that were alive, and I'm not sure if I want to take my shoes off. The ceiling appears to be collapsing, especially in the bathroom. The floor has some gnarly stains and the room has an overall odor to it. The bed is pretty much like sleeping on the ground. We actually discussed blowing up our air mattress that is in the truck to sleep on instead.
Sad. This is the second time I've stayed here. The first time we were in the main building and I had no complaints, that's why I'm giving it an extra star.
If remodeling is in the future of this place, then the rooms like this one need to be closed until that happens.
My wife and i stayed here for a few days and were in the main building... first, they allowed us to check in at 9:30 in the morning, for no extra charge, while pretty much every other hotel in the area makes you wait til 2pm or charges an early check in fee. Check out is noon, later than most hotels in the area. The breakfast was amazing... better than any hotel in the area. We did our stay day by day, since we weren't sure how long we'd be in town. They charged us the same rate every night and even told us that, that rate would not change during our stay regardless of what someone else may charged. We were even assured we would get our first day rate, if we stayed there again. Entire staff was amazing!! Not a single complaint about this hotel, can't say a single negative word about this hotel. Would DEFINATELY stay there again...
