Not sure what he mean obese man's name is but he had no problem making me uncomfortable the whole time I took my test. He sighed the whole time looking out the window like I was bothering him and would not take his Bluetooth out of his ear. He was completely unprofessional in how he acted and it was a definite display of how people working at the DMV hate their jobs.
Please don’t listen to Mrs Dryden. Jose tested my daughter this week and he was wonderful! He really does do all the things he said he does. At the beginning of the test, he chatted with us and it completely put us as ease. He did explain the parallel parking to my daughter and afterwards, he explained the entire test in detail. He was very professional, very nice, and awesome to work with. He calls it fair and how he sees it. And yes, my daughter did pass. He does more than I’ve seen any other examiner do, even remembering back to my test many years ago, no one took the time to do everything he did. Even if my daughter failed, I’d still be saying the same things I am now. If your kid failed Mrs Dryden, she failed because she wasn’t ready, not because of anything Jose did. Re-schedule the test and try again, but do not blame someone who goes out of their way (where you won’t see that anywhere else) and makes the experience a good one. On that note, seriously Penndot, give Jose a raise!!!
Unhelpful and unpleasant. What does it take to get a job there? No people skills, excessive wait times. 2 people to take pictures and one to do everything else. She's slow, abrupt, and very rude...the perfect candidate for the DMV
Extremely RUDE employees. Jose failed my daughter because one small portion of her tire wasn't within the line of the parallel parking. He said, "pull over, your test is done." He offered her zero explanation or instruction and immediately moved on to the next person in line. I actually had to approach him while he was talking to the next person in line to ask him what happened (becuase I was watching from the sideline & thought she parallel parked very well). He was rude, abrupt, and dismissive. Why do people who don't have good social skills work in jobs dealing with people?!
Terrible workers. Said they’re open until 4:30 but lock the doors at 4:15. We arrived at 4:16 and they refused to take my daughter who just wanted a permit test. Conveniently the clock on the wall was set five minutes fast, which I pointed out to zero response. My daughters first experience with these employees certainly proves the stereotype. No one wants to do their job here or actually work.
