It's a place to go buy liquor. Unfortunately, even though I'm optimistic alot, I hardly ever have a good experience here. The people always seem to just judge you, and one minute they're super nice, the next they're all pissy. otherwise, they have a good selection.
Thank you!
There is a reason why I am not explicitly mentioning the name of this person. I would like him to be trained and learn that each customer must be respected impartially - particularly, if that customer earns well over than you possibly have at any full time job, ever (no bragging).
I am from NYC and recently moved here in the neighborhood. I am sort of a regular customer. On number of occasions, I have experienced unequivocal humiliation and lack of respect. Let there be no dubiousness about my general appearance. I am an application developer and a war veteran. Just like now, precisely at 7:30 pm, I walked into the store to purchase liquor. The person at the counter was not engaged elsewhere with any other customer but focused at the main entrance, as he should have, namely, to greet customers. Another gentleman who happened to be a Caucasian, was walking few steps behind me and entered the store couple of seconds right after I did. While I was completely ignored by the cashier --- and this has not happened the first time in this particular store, the person right behind me was greeted extremely well.
Staff not friendly at all. Asking a question is apparently not aloud. Have to sign a receipt for proof of being carded/id checked. When did this start? Oh, you've been doing it since April. Sorry to ask a simple question. Guess I won't be coming back near ever again. Maybe they should get some friendlier staff.

While I do not care if I am greeted or not, in situations like such, I felt humiliated. I would like the supervisors/managers to kindly train this individual. The details I can provide to identify this salesman are as follows:
Cashier ID: 00737883
State run liquor store, but very nice with wine tastings and wide variety of wines and liquors. Recommended!
