Had to come here several times...for completely different reasons. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The facility was clean and was in and out both times I personally needed to be seen under an hour.
A friend of mine went to the ER at Carlisle Regional Medical Center on a Wednesday. He had been having chest pains since Tuesday. The doctor told him that there was nothing wrong with him. He died Wednesday night from a heart attack. He was 55 years old. What of senseless death. I have heard many stories about misdiagnoses at the Carlisle emergency room, but this has to be the worst.
Was in for chest pain from finishing a nearby 5K race. Staff was friendly and my stay was perfect. Thank You.
Went for a CT scan last week. Suddenly there are unknown charges showing up on my debit card. No explanation at all. I will go to Holy Spirit from now on.
My friend came in for stitches since he cut his hand, just needed a stitch or two. Any other hospital as "busy" as this would have had in and out with check-in and checkout in under 30 minutes or less. We have been waiting for close to 2 hours. There were 10 people including us in the waiting room. Best part was when the receptionist said "I'm not taking anymore patients." rather than directing us to someone else, even when she saw him putting pressure on the wound to stymie the bleeding.
