Now a 100-year old family florist and greenhouse business in Carlisle. Worked here doing its heyday during holidays and summers when home from college. At that time there were 22 greenhouses for cut flower production and flowering potted plants. The oil crisis of the 1970s lead to the closing of the greenhouses along with cut flower imports from South America.
